Tomorrow night is the LJHS Solo and Enemble Presentation! Remember, this is  for students who are participating with a solo and/or and ensemble only. we encourage other students and families to come watch and support the kids if they wish.

Below are the performance times for each event. I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the performance to get instruments out and warmup. Warmup will occur in the band room and performances will occur on stage.

 6:20 Clarinet Trio
6:30    Flute Trio
6:40    Brass Quartet
6:50  Low Woodwind Trio
7:00    Grace Brunetto
7:10    Wyatt Johnson
7:20    Luke Moore
7:30  Josh Slaughter
7:40    Sarah Hutchinson
7:50    Lauren Reed
8:00    Mia Tebow

After the students perform they will then be given a short clinic by our two adjudicators, Sean Thompson and Amy Thompson. Sean has been involved with music education for 22 years, and is the former band director at Taylor and Loveland High Schools. Amy is currently the choir and keyboard director at Oak Hills High School, and has also been a band and choir director at Blanchester and Finneytown Schools. She also has given private woodwind lessons for over twenty years.

About 10-15 minutes after their performance and clinic the students will be given a comment sheet with a rating of between I and V, with a I being the top rating (and difficult to achieve!). After they receive that sheet from me in the band room they are free to leave. If they cannot stay-though most students are eager to see the results-they can pick it up in class the next day.

Students performing with Mrs. Swift as the accompanist need to bring her $30 tomorrow evening.

The kids who are participate have been working hard, and I have no doubt they are going to do a great job! If you have any questions be sure to contact me!
