ANNOUNCEMENTS
What’s with the schedule? Here’s the official word: After this Wednesday the next practice we have will be on Tuesday, July 1st at 6 p.m until 9 p.m.. From there on out we rehearse each Tuesday and Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. (except July 3rd...more on that in a second). We also have the Warren County Fair Parade on Monday, July 14 from around 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m...we will have more info on that when we come back in July. We have Band Camp I Monday-Friday beginning July 21 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (bring a lunch!) and go to Wright State on Monday, July 28-Friday August 1. When we get back from Camp we rehearse Tuesday-Thursday from 6-9 p.m. each week before school begins. We also have August 16th (a Saturday) at the newly renovated Vandegrift Field. Times and places TBA.
This year’s July 4th Parade is on ...July 3rd. Yes, you read that right. Right now the day will probably begin with students being dropped off at BERRY SCHOOL at around 3:00 p.m. and then can be PICKED UP AT BERRY at around 4:30 p.m. We will not rehearse that night. If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Simply by filling out a form you can now have your Kroger cards go towards your INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS! That means that 4% of every purchase you make at Kroger using your LEBANON BAND GIFT CARD will automatically transfer to your individual account for things like dues, instrument supplies, and more! More details on how to get a Kroger Card are now available in the handout given out today!
We are holding a fundraiser right now for YOUR student accounts! At least 40% of what you turn in will go towards you student accounts and can pay for fees, materials, and other band related items. HOW GREAT IS THAT! THIS FUNDRAISER IS ALL FOR YOU. Get out there and do this for yourself!
If you are going to be in Marching Band next fall I need a signed commitment form from you by TOMORROW! Some of you have NOT turned them in!
If you are interested in using a school instrument this summer you can sign one out with Mr. Iannelli. However, if you do you might have to let it to go out for reconditioning and repair for a minimum of two weeks before school begins so it can be returned on time for the school year.
