BAND ROOM SECURITY

Today (Wednesday, March 22) it was reported by a school official to me that students pulled on the locked high school band room doors until they opened. This is not only a serious security issue but is also potentially damaging to school property and office discipline could result.

If there are no school approved personnel around to supervise students they cannot be in the band room unless approved by administration or similar school official.

If you have any questions please contact the band office at 513-934-5172.

Philosophy

Philosophy

Philosophy

Music is a core element of humankind. Because of this, music education becomes a necessary venture to ensure that the each child is being educated to the fullest. With this in mind, it is the philosophy of the Lebanon Band Program to give each student the very best that music has to offer. This includes the development of aptitude, thorough comprehension, and a deep recognition and appreciation for the many styles of music from all parts of the world.
The primary objective of the Lebanon Band Program is to develop the individual and collective skills of each student we meet. Students are expected to have a dedicated work ethic, continually evolve, and learn how to set new aims while achieving great success and having fun with the band and it's membership.
